With the upcoming news of Pokémon lets go Pikachu and let’s go eevee people are going crazy... this may be because the fact that Game Freak release some work from the Pokémon games when it was in its beta. We all know they planned to add more Pokémon to the game than it was first show in the tv series, at least 190. some got reject and some others got in a group to be released in the GOLD and SILVER versions.

But there are a group of Pokémon that was going to be part of the first-generation game such as Gorochu, Raichu evolution, who supposed to have fangs, horns and bigger arms,

later on it was shown in the 2018 educational manga "Satoshi Tajiri: The Man Who Created Pokémon" a beta pokedex for the first generation in which we can see 4 new pokemon...

...the Satoshi Tajiri manga shows a shark like, cactus, lizard, and dear Pokémon that didn’t make it till the official game.

Diaa: It was shown on a page discussing a poll in which the staff of the game would vote for their favorite Pokémon before including some of them in the final games.

Crocky: It appears to be based on a crocodile with large eyes and what appears to be long 'hair' growing to the neck. It was numbered 62

Jaggu: was revealed in the 2018 educational manga "Satoshi Tajiri'' and its based on a shark with a shovel-like pointed head.

Cactus: inspired by cacti. It was shown on a page discussing a poll in which the staff of the game would vote for their favorite Pokémon before including some of them in the final games. It is numbered 67.

even though they didn’t make it till the final i leave you some artworks of what they could have look like now days.

the half that got to the second generation can be split in two groups, some got a redesign and some just didn’t get to the final selection.

One of the first thing we can notice here is the starters lines in which bayleef didn’t exist at all, same with the cyndaquill and totodile evolution line. instead there’s a fire bear (Honōguma) and a nessie (Kurusu) like Pokémon.

We also have a bunch of baby Pokémon that didn’t get into the game sadly, even mime Jr. were planned to be in this generation, with a more oddly looking design.
